Post-Doctoral Researcher Job Vacancy

Do you have expertise in children’s eating behaviour research? Are you looking for a 3 year postdoc position in an exciting team, with huge development potential?

A unique opportunity has arisen to join the ESRC funded project: Appetite in Preschoolers: Producing Evidence for Tailoring Interventions Effectively (APPETItE).

In this project, the team will be examining feeding and eating in pre-schoolers with avid appetites, to understand children’s differential susceptibility to obesogenic environments and inform future intervention efficacy.

This is a full-time fixed term post until 31st October 2024.  The successful applicant will join the Aston Institute for Health and Neurodevelopment (https://www2.aston.ac.uk/lhs/research/groups/aston-institute-of-health-and-neurodevelopment), and the Psychology of Eating in Adults and Children (PEACh) research team (https://www.aston.ac.uk/research/hls/applied-health-research-group/peach). Because this project is the result of a collaboration between Aston, Loughborough, UCL and KCL, the post-holder will also benefit from the breadth of expertise and networks of the supervisory team beyond Aston.

Closing Date: 23.59 hours BST on Sunday 22 August 2021
